Web Hosting Services

Hosting recommended alongside a self-hosted Prosper202 ClickServer, and how to report a problem with a listed host.

Prosper202 ClickServer runs on a server you control, so the host you choose matters. This page points you to the recommended hosting and explains how to raise a problem with a host on the list.

Recommended host

  • WP Engine: fully managed WordPress hosting with fast caching, and expert WordPress support on every plan. The sign-up link is on the full page.

Check the specs first

The hosting partner requirements for the current release make a handy checklist for any server you plan to track on:

  • PHP 8.3 or newer
  • MySQL 8.0+ or MariaDB 10.6+ (older versions are refused by the installer and the upgrade)
  • Nginx with PHP-FPM, or Apache
  • A cron job every minute running 202-cronjobs/index.php
  • Memcached, which ClickServer uses when it's available
  • A valid TLS certificate on every tracking domain

For the install itself, see Installing Prosper202.

Problems with a listed host

If a host on this list gives you trouble, email [email protected]. Where it's warranted, the team will work with you and the host toward a fix. Tracking202 doesn't host ClickServers itself, so please don't send legal takedown orders or threats.

To get your plans listed, see the Hosting Technology Partner track in the Prosper202 Partner Program, which also explains how to apply.
