IP and ISP DB Integration
Add MaxMind's ISP database to Prosper202 so your reports show each visitor's ISP and carrier.
Prosper202 ClickServer can read MaxMind's ISP database to fill in each visitor's ISP and carrier. Set it up when you want that data in your reports.
Why it's a separate purchase
Country, region and city lookups already work: ClickServer ships with MaxMind's free GeoLite2 City database. ISP and carrier data needs MaxMind's paid ISP database, which MaxMind, a third-party company, sells separately. The team recommends MaxMind and uses its services too. Setup
- Buy the MaxMind ISP database.
- Upload the file you receive,
GeoIP2-ISP.mmdb, to the202-config/geo/folder of your install. The Settings page shows the exact folder if yours differs. - In Prosper202, open My Account > Settings.
- In the ISP and carrier lookup panel, choose On and save. It only turns on once the file is in place.
- Live traffic picks up the change within five minutes.
An old GeoIPISP.dat file still works as a fallback, but only with the PHP geoip extension, and MaxMind retired those legacy databases in 2022.
