Step 1 - Traffic Sources
Add each ad platform you buy traffic from, plus the accounts you run on it, so every click is tied to its source.
Step 1 tells Prosper202 ClickServer where your clicks will come from: each ad platform you buy traffic on, and the accounts you use there. It's required.
Add a traffic source
- Type a name, such as Google Ads, and click Add. The name is only for your reference, and an autocomplete list may pop up as you type.
- The new source appears in the list on the right.
Add an account (required)
- Select the source you just added and type an account name in the second box, for example the login you use on that platform, such as [email protected]. This label is also just for you.
- Leaving the account out causes an error. Every traffic source needs at least one account.
- Running more than one account on the same platform is common. Select the source again and add each account, so you can see which one sent the traffic. Add more traffic sources the same way; they all collect in the list on the right.
Optional fields
- Pixel Type and Pixel Code: only for traffic sources that give you a tracking pixel. When the Universal Tracking Pixel fires, it fires these as well. Your traffic source can tell you which pixel type to pick.
- Variables: you can define tracking variables per source, but the recommended place for extra values is the C1-C4 fields in Step 8. Use variables only when you must pass other parameters, such as UTM tags. If that doesn't apply to you, skip them.
