Step 0 - Getting Started
Connect your Customer API key, make sure you're on the current version, and open the Setup screens in Prosper202 ClickServer.
Step 0 takes you from a fresh install to the Setup screen, where the campaign walkthrough in Steps 1 to 10 begins. Do it once, right after installing.
Before you start
Install Prosper202 ClickServer first. Get the free download from your my.tracking202.com account and follow Installing Prosper202.
Support is not free. The documentation is, so read through it first. If you still need help, you can subscribe to a support plan at my.tracking202.com.
Two different API keys
- Customer API key: comes from your my.tracking202.com account. It connects your install to that account, so you can order services and upgrade from inside Prosper202. The in-app chat box and the
p202CLI's Pro check rely on it too. Enter it under Account > Personal Settings, in the Customer API Key section. - Prosper202 API key: also in Personal Settings, but it controls access to your install's own API. Don't mix the two up.
Stay on the current version
If ClickServer shows that you're on an older version, upgrade before you set anything up. Older versions aren't supported, and any request for help starts with upgrading. When an upgrade fails, the cause is often the server configuration; help with that comes through a consulting plan at my.tracking202.com. Prosper202 Release Cycle explains the upgrade notice.
Open the Setup screens
ClickServer is the tracking software inside Prosper202. After you log in:
- Click Prosper202 CS (short for Prosper202 ClickServer).
- You land on the Overview screen. Click the Setup tab.
- Setup opens on Step 1.
