Step 5 - Text Ads
Optionally save a copy of each text ad in Prosper202 ClickServer so you can see how every ad performs.
Step 5 lets you keep a record of your text ads in Prosper202 ClickServer, so results can be broken down by ad. It's optional, and most people skip it.
The record is for tracking only. It has no connection to the live ad on your traffic source. You can copy the ad word for word, or just give it a label you'll recognise.
Filling in the form
- Setup type: pick the first option if you direct link or use a Simple LP. Pick the second if you use an Advanced LP.
- What the ad promotes: with the first option, choose the category and then the campaign. With an Advanced LP, choose the landing page.
- Ad details: add a nickname, enter the ad text the way you want it stored, and click Add.
Repeat for every ad you want to track.
If you skip this step, there's simply nothing to choose under Text Ads when you build the link in Step 8.
