PPC Tokens
Which search ad tokens to add to your Prosper202 tracking link, starting with the keyword token in t202kw=.
PPC tokens are placeholders your search ad platform fills in at click time, such as the keyword that triggered your ad. Add them to your Prosper202 ClickServer tracking link when you run search campaigns, so the keyword reaches your reports.
What you need
- For most campaigns, the keyword token is the only one you must add.
- It goes into the
t202kw=parameter of the tracking link you generate in Step 8. - Any other token you want has to go into a separate variable. The recommended home for extra tracking is
c1toc4.
Keyword tokens
| Traffic source | Keyword token |
|---|---|
| Google Ads | {keyword} |
| Microsoft Advertising (Bing) | {QueryString} |
On a Google tracking link, the keyword parameter reads:
t202kw={keyword}
For any other traffic source or network, check its own documentation for the tokens it supports.
If keywords still don't show
Make sure the token sits at the end of the t202kw= parameter in the link you pasted into your traffic source. The FAQ covers the other common causes.
